Terms of Service

Last updated: October 1, 2026

1. Who publishes Aurora

Aurora is published by Baptiste Leiva EI, trading as BAL Digital, a French sole proprietorship (micro-entreprise) registered in France under SIREN number [SIREN], with its registered office at [FULL ADDRESS].

2. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern your use of the Aurora mobile application and your subscription to Aurora Pro. By installing or using Aurora, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the application.

The application is distributed through the App Store. Apple’s terms also apply to your download and your purchases.

3. What Aurora does

Aurora is an alarm clock app that replaces the snooze button with a morning mission: mental maths, memory, puzzle, sky photo, push-ups, squats, plank, making your bed or the resolution of the day.

The application lets you create recurring alarms, choose a mission and a ringtone for each alarm, and review the history of your wake-ups.

4. Important limitations to know before using Aurora as an alarm clock

Please read this section carefully: it describes the actual limitations of the service.

5. User account

An account is required to subscribe and to back up your history online. You can create one with an email address and a password, or with Sign in with Apple or Google.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for any activity carried out from your account. Let us know without delay at [CONTACT EMAIL] in the event of unauthorised use.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and erases your online history. It does not cancel your subscription, which must be cancelled separately in your Apple account settings.

We may suspend or close an account in the event of a serious breach of these terms, after informing you where possible.

6. Free version and Aurora Pro subscription

6.1 What is free

The Mental maths and Memory missions, alarm creation and seven days of statistics are available free of charge, with no time limit.

6.2 What the subscription unlocks

The Aurora Pro subscription unlocks the seven advanced missions (make your bed, puzzle, sky photo, push-ups, squats, plank, resolution of the day), thirty days of statistics, and any new missions added to Aurora during your subscription.

The available plans and their prices are shown in the application before any payment, in the currency of your Apple account, including all taxes.

6.3 Payment, renewal and cancellation

6.4 Free trial

If a free trial is offered, it becomes a paid subscription when it ends, unless cancelled at least twenty-four hours before the end of the trial. Any unused portion of a trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during that period.

6.5 Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are therefore handled by Apple, via reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot grant or refuse a refund on Apple’s behalf.

6.6 Right of withdrawal

The subscription gives immediate access to digital content. By subscribing, you expressly request immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you lose your fourteen-day right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code. This does not prevent you from requesting a refund from Apple under the conditions it applies.

6.7 Changes to prices and content

We may change the prices and content of the subscription. Any price change to an active subscription is notified to you by Apple and requires your consent before it applies at the next renewal, under the conditions set by the App Store. Prices already paid are not affected.

7. Physical missions and health

The Push-ups, Squats and Plank missions involve physical effort. Aurora is not a medical device and does not provide any personalised medical or fitness advice.

You perform these missions at your own risk, in a clear and safe environment. If you have a health condition, an injury, are pregnant or have any doubt, ask a healthcare professional for advice before using them. Stop immediately if you feel pain or discomfort.

Never perform a mission while driving or in any other situation where your attention is required elsewhere.

8. Proper use of the service

You agree not to:

9. Intellectual property

The application, its code, interface, illustrations and texts are protected and remain the property of Baptiste Leiva EI. The ringtones provided are used in accordance with the licences of their respective authors.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the application for as long as you use it. The content you create (resolutions, mission photos) remains yours.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We make our best efforts to keep the service available, without guaranteeing permanent availability. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or technical reasons.

Features may change, be improved or be removed. If a feature included in the subscription were permanently removed, you could cancel your subscription under the conditions of section 6.

The application requires an iPhone running iOS 26 or later. We do not guarantee that it will work on a modified (jailbroken) device or on an unsupported version of the operating system.

11. Liability

Aurora is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for the consequences of a missed wake-up, an alarm that did not go off or a mission that was not validated, nor for indirect damages such as loss of opportunity, income or data.

Nothing in these terms excludes our liability in the event of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, nor the statutory guarantees you enjoy as a consumer, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services provided for in Articles L. 224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.

12. Personal data

The processing of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms to reflect changes to the application or to the regulations. The applicable version is the one published at auroraapp.fr/terms.html. In the event of a substantial change, you will be informed in the application. Continuing to use Aurora after being informed constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the protective provisions applicable in your country of residence if you live in another Member State of the European Union.

If you encounter a problem, please write to us first at [CONTACT EMAIL]: we will look for an amicable solution.

In accordance with Articles L. 611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge: [MEDIATOR NAME AND CONTACT DETAILS]. Failing agreement, the competent courts are those designated by law.
